Homebound

A patient is considered "homebound" if leaving home requires a considerable and taxing effort, and the patient doesn't go out very often or for short periods, or it is medically inadvisable. Generally they are unable to leave home without the aid of crutches, walkers, wheelchairs, or another person's assistance.

NOTE: Aged persons who stay at home due to feebleness or concerns about security are NOT considered homebound.
